Common Questions: Honest Answers

• Do I need insurance?

  No. We do not take insurance, which is exactly why we can say yes when insurance says no. A US-licensed clinician will determine if the medications are a safe and appropriate fit for you.

• Do I need to do a video visit?
  • In most states: No. You just fill out an online questionnaire. A licensed clinician will review your answers on their own time to check your eligibility. If they have any questions, they’ll simply message you.
  • In a few states: Yes. Telehealth laws require a live call with the clinician.
    • If you live in Georgia, Louisiana, or Mississippi, you will need a live call for your initial visit and at 6 months to continue treatment.
    • If you live in Arkansas, Idaho, or Maryland, you need a live call for your very first visit; after that, your clinician can manage your treatment without live call appointments.

  Requirements are subject to change. When you fill out the questionnaire, we will tell you if a live call is required so there are no surprises.

• What's included with my shipment?

  Your shipment arrives with everything you need to get started: the medication, injection supplies, and alcohol pads. Plus, you get 24/7 access to message your provider through the patient portal if you have questions.

• What is a compounded medication?

  Compounded medications are prescriptions mixed by a licensed pharmacy based on your provider's order.

  Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and don't undergo FDA safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing review.

  Licensed compounding pharmacies follow safety standards set by state or federal regulators.

• Who are your partner pharmacies?

  We partner with 503A licensed compounding pharmacies. That means they operate under state board of pharmacy oversight and make your medication to order when your provider prescribes it.

• How do I know if I'm eligible?

  The easiest way to find out is to take our quick online intake questionnaire. Every medication has different safety requirements based on your age, medical history, and goals.

  To keep things completely sin sorpresas, our process is entirely risk-free:

  • Instant screening: Our questionnaire checks your basic eligibility as you fill it out. If a medication isn’t a safe fit for you, we’ll let you know right away so we don’t waste your time.
  • No charge unless approved: You’ll enter your payment info to hold your place, but you are not charged unless a clinician reviews and approves your prescription. If you aren’t eligible, you owe nothing.
• What Semaglutide and Tirzepatide formulations do you offer?

  We offer formulations paired with either B12 or glycine. The active weight-loss ingredient is semaglutide or tirzepatide—that is what does the heavy lifting either way.

  • B12 is a vitamin that supports energy metabolism, which may help keep you feeling energized during your program.
  • Glycine is a natural amino acid that serves as a neutral stabilizer for the medication. It doesn't change how the active ingredient works, making it a great option if you prefer a standard formulation without added vitamins.
• Can I continue my treatment at my previous dose?

  Yes, in most cases. If you have taken this medication within the past two months, you can generally pick up right where you left off. Simply complete our medical intake form, and our network of licensed providers will evaluate your history to prescribe your matching maintenance dose.

  For your safety, if it has been more than two months since your last dose, our providers will likely recommend starting at a lower dose to let your body adjust again. If you are entirely new to this medication, you will begin at the standard starting dose. As a reminder, all doses are the same flat price, so your monthly cost will never go up as your dose changes.

• I have a phone call appointment with my provider. What number will they call from?

  Wasef providers call from (941) 845-6153, and the caller ID usually appears as “Healthcare Provider.” We encourage you to save this number as a contact.

  If you prefer not to save the number, please temporarily disable any spam call blocking or call screening features while you’re waiting for the provider’s call. These features can sometimes block, silence, or filter the calls, making it difficult for providers to reach patients and resulting in delays to visits.
